Open a business account when you already have a personal account

You can hold a personal and a business account at the same time. They are separate accounts, each with its own IBAN, balance, and statements.

Your personal account is not affected when you open a business account.

Can I use the same phone and email?

Phone number

As the company's legal representative, you and the company must share the same contact number.

Email address

No. Your company needs its own email address. That email is the login for the business account. Each email can only belong to one MoneyBeat account.

What happens next

1. Sign up for a business account at https://app.moneybeat.eu using a different email from your personal account.
2. Enter your company details and the company contact number.
3. Add yourself as legal representative, plus any owner holding 25% or more.
4. Verify the phone number with the code we text you. This confirms both you and the company in one step.
5. Upload the company documents we request during KYB.
6. Once approved, your company gets its own IBAN.

Your personal account stays open and unchanged throughout.
