Last updated on Jun 20, 2026

SWIFT transfers let you send money internationally to bank accounts outside the SEPA zone or in non-EUR currencies.

How to send a SWIFT payment

  1. Log in to the Moneybeat app.
  2. Go to SendSWIFT / International transfer.
  3. Add or select a beneficiary with full bank details:
    • Recipient name
    • IBAN or account number
    • BIC/SWIFT code
    • Bank name and address
    • Recipient address (if required)
  4. Enter the amount and currency.
  5. Choose who pays transfer fees (SHA, OUR, or BEN if shown).
  6. Review all details carefully and confirm.

Processing time

SWIFT transfers typically take 2–5 business days depending on the destination country and intermediary banks.

Important

  • SWIFT details must be exact — errors can cause delays or returns.
  • Some countries require additional reference information.
  • Contact support@moneybeat.eu before sending large or first-time international payments if you need guidance.
